The Committee considered the combined third and fourth periodic report of Myanmar (CRC/C/MMR/3-4) at its 1675th and 1676th meetings (see CRC/C/SR.1675 and CRC/C/SR.1676) held on 19 January 2012, and adopted, at its 1697th meeting, held on 3 February 2012, the following concluding observations. I. Introduction 2. The Committee welcomes the submission of the combined third and fourth periodic report of the State party (CRC/C/MMR/3-4) and the written replies to its list of issues (CRC/C/MMR/Q/3-4/Add.1). The Committee appreciates the constructive dialogue held with a cross-sectoral delegation of the State party. II. Follow-up measures undertaken and progress achieved by the State party 3. The Committee notes as positive the adoption of the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Law in 2005. 4. The Committee also welcomes the ratification of or accession to the following international human rights treaties: (a) Optional Protocol to the Convention of the Rights of the Child on the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography, in 2012; (b) Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, in 2011; and (c) Charter of the Association of the Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), in 2008. 5.
