Thank you Madame. Without principles, what guides your path in life? My name is [inaudible] and I
am representing Princip as the head of diplomatic affairs. Peace can only last when every voice is
heard. So allow me to open a door long kept shut: Jasenovac, where over 700,000 Serbs, Jews, and
Roma were murdered during World War II. We comfort ourselves believing such nightmares are
locked in history. Yet, in the region of Kosovo and [inaudible], fear still walks the streets of Serbs
communities. In 2025 alone, over 130 ethnically motivated attacks targeted Serbs. Churches burned,
cemeteries desecrated, homes attacked, children harassed, and arbitrary detentions by local
authorities. In the last 4 years, a total of 712 ethnically motivated attacks targeted Serbs. Over 110
Orthodox sites damaged and 5,250 graves desecrated highlight a persistent pattern of persecution.
May I remind you that this is a global issue. This reality stands in clear contradiction to UN Resolution
1244, which obliges the international community to ensure safety and return of displaced persons, to
condemn violence against civilians, and guarantee human rights equality and before the law. If 1244
remains binding, as the UN affirms, why are its protections applied so selectively? Who ensures they
extend to every community. Excellencies, peace cannot grow in silence or fear, we therefore urge the
UN to address these attacks, fully enforce Resolution 1244, and begin a procedure to recognize
Jasenovac as a genocide, and the ongoing ethnic cleansing of Serbs in Kosovo and [CHAIR ASKS
SPEAKER TO REMAIN ON TOPIC]. In times of universal [inaudible] telling your truth becomes a
revolutionary act, you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. Thank you.
