and my delegation would also like to align itself with the statement made by Pakistan on behalf
of the OIC previously. Mr Chairperson, my delegation is of the [view] that more […] efforts all
relevant stakeholders are required in ensuring proper and timely responses given during the
humanitarian crises. Mr Chairperson, my delegation would also like to reaffirm that the
protection and promotion of human rights of all Indonesian citizens is fully guaranteed by our
constitution. Indonesia is consistent [and prominent] with the advancement of international
cooperation and genuine dialogue in the promotion and protection of human rights at all levels
including at national levels. Nevertheless we do all know that no country has a perfect human
rights record and we continue to take efforts take concrete measures to incorporate strong
human rights mechanisms. Mr Chairperson, programs and policies based on prosperity, justice,
rule of law, and respect for human rights, including freedom of expression and of opinion
continue to be fully implemented. And my delegation would like to put on record and reaffirm
that the point that the re-integration of Papua into the unitary state of Republic of Indonesia for
the 1969 Act of Free Choice remains in place, valid, legal and irrevocable, We also like to
reaffirm the status of Papua is an integral part of Indonesia is not only final through that but
also through the endorsement of the GA resolution 2504. Mr Chairperson, it is very unfortunate
that lack of understanding of history and post importantly the current situation of progressive
development in the government of Indonesia is [irreverently] and deceptively been used to
create false and fabricated opinion. It is important to also note that this forum should not be
utilised for ill intention and attempts that breach the UN Charter particularly regarding the
sovereignty and territorial integrity of the state. It is regrettable that this Forum continues to be
deviated from its main agenda [..] of its creation and away from focusing on issues on priorities
in hand. Rest assured that we will continue to take our efforts taking the promotion and
protection human rights in the genuine [interrupted by the Chair due to time constraints].
