OMAEP Organisation Mondiale des Associations pour l’Education Prénatale ONG en statut consultatif spécial auprès de l’ ECOSOC–Conseil économique et social de l’ONU www.omaep.com Human Rights Minorities - Early prevention of conflicts and protection of minorities Hello. I represent the OMAEP World Organization of Associations for Prenatal Education. Eminent experts, such as doctors Jean-Pierre Relier (France) and Thomas Verny (USA), have shown that the character of the child is formed largely during its intrauterine life, by all that it perceives in his mother's womb. Indeed, the cells of its body are formed on the basis of the experiences it has during the 9 months of gestation. Therefore, preparation for parenthood is part of the early and effective prevention of conflicts, as well as the protection of the being in development in the womb of its mother. Since 85% of the population is a parent one day, parental education should be integrated formally or informally, in schools or out of school, in universities, youth centers, and public and private associations, at the national and governmental level. We recommend that all countries create virtual or physical places where young people, pregnant women, and future parents can find everything they need to communicate peace and non-violence to their child during the time of pregnancy and during their childhood. Europe is leading by example by funding associations to develop training sites and platforms for future parents and education professionals. See www.omaedu.ro. The international collaboration of Member States is necessary for all countries to set up an education system suitable for parenthood. A parenting education commission could be created which would set out basic priorities in a treaty. Thank you for your attention. Siège de la Présidence : Nanu Lavinia Mihaela Bd.
