A/HRC/42/37/Add.1 Other issues 116. The Special Rapporteur wishes to draw attention to the special risk to their survival faced by indigenous peoples and nations with few members. She recommends that a proper dialogue be initiated with those peoples and their legitimate representatives on issues related to concessions that affect their lands and the titling of their traditional territories, among other matters. 117. It is essential to work with the indigenous peoples on specific policies for indigenous youth, taking into account the troubling reports of migration and youth suicide. 118. The Special Rapporteur wishes to remind the private sector of its responsibility to respect the rights of indigenous peoples and recommends that it develop humanrights impact studies in accordance with international standards and the Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, in cooperation with indigenous peoples. 119. Legislation should be strengthened to ensure that radio frequencies are reserved for indigenous media and to provide training and funding in support of these initiatives. To the United Nations System 120. The Special Rapporteur recommends that the rights of indigenous peoples be included in the plans and annual budgets of the United Nations Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF) 2019–2022 and encourages the United Nations system in Ecuador to work with the Government and the indigenous peoples on the development of indicators and collection of disaggregated data on the situation of indigenous peoples. 121. The Special Rapporteur recommends that the United Nations, in particular UN Women, should work jointly with indigenous women to defend their rights, taking into account their own priorities. 20 GE.19-11328
