Mr. Priti Sarman - Association of World Citizen, Bangladesh
At the beginning of this speech I partially offer my deep congratulations
the organising committee on the forum on minority issues and my best
thanks and regards to the honourable guest and the [directorate] of the
Association of World Citizen [grants].
I, a [...] Buddhist, highly delighter to attend the significant first Inaugural
Meeting for the Forum on Minority Issues. We are very few minority
Buddhists in Bangladesh. The government of Bangladesh is providing all
the necessary facilities, such as the fundamental right to education,
culture and religious opportunity.
The minority children are getting all the best [needs] from the Bangladesh
government. The international NGOs and the local NGOs are providing all
the basic needs not only to minority students but also to all of the
students.
The Bangladeshi Buddhist is now the [...] position have no issues as to
develop to [redirect] the education and develop the culture. The
Bangladesh government have had all the parity especially to education and
taken the responsibility to educate [directly] at the grass-root level.
I like to give a very simple statement about the minority community in
Bangladesh. The Bangladesh the minority is very few. And are living [...]
position, have no support to develop their core existence. I believe that
the organising community folding Forum on Minority Issues will take the
fact into sympathetic consideration in coming future. I give my best thanks
to the organising committee and my best thanks to all honourable guests
and thank you all today.
