He would also like once again to emphasize the importance of promoting the ideals of tolerance and understanding in matters of religion and belief through education by introducing human rights standards in school and university curricula and through the training of the teaching staff. Finally, the Special Rapporteur wishes to emphasize the important role of media briefings and information seminars aimed at encouraging understanding and tolerance in matters of religion and belief and providing the broadest possible dissemination of the principles set out in the 1981 Declaration. -----
