International Association for Peace and Democracy Madame Chair, Ladies and Gentlemen, on behalf of the International Association for Peace and Democracy, I am honored to speak today on the participation of minorities in inclusive and peaceful societies. Minorities are not peripheral actors. They are essential to the social, cultural, and economic richness of our nations, as society is more resilient when it values its diversity. But resilience is impossible where exclusion and discrimination persist. It is, therefore, crucial to guarantee minorities equal access to education and employment, as well as meaningful participation in decision-making. Protecting their cultural and linguistic identity is an investment in peace and stability. Let us affirm that human rights are universal and must apply equally to all. By defending the dignity of minorities, we strengthen the dignity of humanity as a whole. Thank you Madame Chair.
