E. National human rights institutions 26. National human rights institutions, in partnership with indigenous peoples, can play an important role in ensuring improved access to justice for indigenous peoples, including by encouraging recognition of and providing support for indigenous justice systems and promoting the implementation of the Declaration at the national level. National human rights institutions, in partnership with indigenous peoples, have the opportunity to provide training on the rights of indigenous peoples in relation to access to justice for judiciaries. 26
