Cooperation between the United Nations and the Conference on Security and Cooperation in Europe The General Assembly, Recalling its resolution 47/10 of 28 October 1992 on cooperation between the United Nations and the Conference on Security and Cooperation in Europe, Welcoming its resolution 48/5 of 13 October 1993 on observer status for the Conference on Security and Cooperation in Europe in the General Assembly, Welcoming also the declaration at the 1992 Helsinki Summit by the heads of State or Government of the participating States of the Conference on Security and Cooperation in Europe of their understanding that the Conference is a regional arrangement in the sense of Chapter VIII of the Charter of the United Nations, and as such provides an important link between European and global security, 1/ Recalling also the documents of the Conference, in particular the Final Act signed at Helsinki on 1 August 1975, the Charter of Paris for a New Europe, 2/ the Prague Document on Further Development of the Institutions and Structures of the Conference on Security and Cooperation in Europe, 3/ the Vienna Document 1992 on Confidence- and Security-building Measures, the ____________ 1/ See A/47/361-S/24370, annex. 2/ A/45/859, annex. 3/ A/47/89-S/23576, annex II. /...
