IRA- Mauritania on Item VI M, FR Thank you madam, We would like to land the contribution of our organisation within the framework of our struggle against a phenomenon, which most people of the world believe is an out-dated one – slavery. Slavery as a resource [interrupted by the Chair] Madam Chair, all we recommend is that this very important Declaration be implemented, implemented in our country. That it would be implemented in countries where minorities still have their rights infringed. We need this platform to be followed by recommendations which incorporate the issue of follow-up for the implementation of this platform in all countries as in ours, where great many minorities continue to suffer and see their rights violated.
