Besides, OIC has vigorously denounced acts of violence against ethnic and religious Christian and Yezidis minorities committed by the radical groups in Iraq and in the region. Respect for diversity is a clear principle within the OIC. The international community should imperatively mobilise more to defend the inalienable rights of people belonging to the national, ethnic, cultural and linguistic minorities, especially their right to citizenship and self-determination.
