Speaker: Thank you. Chairmen person and delegates. I have an urgent appeal to start a
dialog between the Papoea people who are opposed to Indonesian politicians and the
Indonesian government. The choice for a dialog is in accordance with many people’s wants.
Dialogue is the most difficult part to resolve to Papoea conflict but it is the only road to leads
to lasting peace. The Papoea people are opposed to violence because this only leads to
greater suffering. In order to stop the suffering it is necessary to have the dialogue with
counter Indonesia parties who are supported by the decided international mechanism.
Papoea are citizens of the state of Indonesia and for 95 years this has been known to be an
area of political conflict. The dialog in Papoea is [inaudible] so that there will be an
understanding of the tension in the political conflict so that there will be mutual respect for
political choice and mutual recognition of multiple choice, political right for the future of its
party. Only though dialog can [inaudible] be solved and freedom for the Papoea be found.
We are ready for this dialog. We call all the international committee to join us. Thank you.
