A/HRC/11/7/Add.3 page 3 The Special Rapporteur likewise notes with concern the handling of procedures for deportation from Guatemala of undocumented migrants, which last longer than necessary, particularly for migrants from countries outside Central America as their countries of origin have no diplomatic representation in Guatemala. The Special Rapporteur has provided a list of detailed recommendations and conclusions stressing the need, inter alia, to step up the struggle against corruption and impunity, bring proceedings against those responsible and ensure the full execution of sentences, and he urges the State to continue cooperating to this end with the International Commission against Impunity in Guatemala.
