The Forum considered agenda item 4 (a) at its 9th, 10th, 11th, 15th and 16th meetings, on 23, 24 and 27 May 2005. 2. At the 9th meeting, a statement was made by the Special Rapporteur of the Commission on Human Rights on the situation of human rights and fundamental freedoms of indigenous people. 3.
