Kabylia Organization/Algeria
Excellencies, ladies and gentlemen, thanks to give us a chance to say some words that are burning
our Kabylian hearts. I was afraid to do not have this chance today because what happened yesterday.

Almost all of us, we are not minorities. We are minorized. So this is different. Kabylia is 12 million
people. 40,000 kilometers square. Kabylia is bigger than 60% of the countries in United Nations in
terms of population and it's larger than 30% of countries in United Nations in terms of territory. So,

understand we are not a minority, we are minorized.

today which is the media. So not far from this week, the Algerian Parliament decided to not promote
our mother tongue native language. Even though it's written as being a national and official language
