The subject of the session is very important, all minorities or most of them suffer from
violence and atrocities, but the degree of violence and its forms vary from one country to
another but in the original it is suffering. It is an act against human rights Where violations are
numerous.
Therefore, I believe that the best solution is the rule of law to support the rights of minorities
and ensure its implementation without discrimination. With the adoption of other mechanisms
to support the transition from the cultural heritage of sectarian to a state of acceptance and
coexistence with others.
On the legal level also, Taking a legislative measures is a must If any legislative shortcomings
exist In national mechanisms.
Therefore, we find that there is a role that States and international and regional organizations
must play to prevent violence as a necessity of international conventions. Therefore, we
emphasize article 14/24/25/26/28/37 of the draft recommendations.
And if we want to address the measures taken for States and international and regional
organizations after the violence, we emphasize the article 68 / 77/ 78/ 80
Based on all of the above, we recommend that:
1- We affirm article 15 of the draft recommendations, which referred to the enactment
of legislation prohibiting incitement to hatred ... etc.
And we add…States and non-state actors must develop a comprehensive development
program for slums and marginalized areas because they are the most affected by hate
speech this program also includes: - Effective dialogue on tolerance and acceptance of the
other coincides with community development in education, health and small industries to
create an effective community environment
We base ourselves on Article 20 of the International Compact on Civil and Political Rights.
