These are supplemented by the interim report submitted to the General Assembly at its fifty-sixth session (A/56/253, 31 July 2001). In chapter I of the present report, the Special Rapporteur deals with activities relating to the prevention of intolerance and discrimination, in particular the Madrid Conference and the dialogue between religions.
