39.3% of women have experienced psychological abuse. 20.4% of women have experienced sexual abuse and 63.5% of women were subject to other forms of violence. Mr President, in view of the importance of this conference, on which oppressed people set big hopes, and our belief in the need of peaceful and humanitarian action to resolve the problems and the oppression which people suffer through foreign occupation, among them the Arab people in Arabistan: 1. We call on the Iranian regime to cease the ethnic cleansing against our Arab people in Arabestan (south Iran) 2. We call on the United Nations Human Rights Council to remind the Iranian regime of its international pledges and its commitment to the implementation of the articles of the Iranian constitution, specifically those pertaining to the rights of non-Persian peoples. 11/11/28
