In accordance with the law, was sentenced to 15 years’ imprisonment (from 18 August 1983 to 17 September 1998) by the Shanghai Municipal Intermediate People’s Court for espionage. He is serving his sentence in a Shanghai prison, and is in good health. The following 13 persons are under investigation by local security organs in accordance with the law for illegal activities. No action has yet been taken.
