Ass. for the Defense of Ahlulbayt Rights – Switzerland Mr. Chairman Ladies and gentlemen For the urgent conditions of minorities in many countries of the world, it is necessary and very urgent opening the door for discussions and at a very high level in order to reach understandings and approaches in points of view. Most people recently heard that there is violations of human rights in the World Cup in Qatar due to the inability of homosexuals to declare their homosexuality and the inability of some teams to carry the gay badge, some of European governments demand the Qatari and Arab governments in general to respect this sexual orientation, so why these governments don't respect the choices of Muslim women in Europe in terms of clothing, culture, traditions, etc., and they are naturally a minority, as stated literally in the declaration of UN? The United Nations must be directed to enact of complementary and deterrent laws to protect minorities all over the world. The media must play its role in educating people in general and governments in particular, and directing them to pay attention to minorities through: - TV channels, radio, newspapers and magazines, communication and Web-sites, ecc.. We all hope that there will be greater consideration, attention and care for minorities and activating ways to protect them in all available and possible ways.
