The media are encouraged to promote and protect indigenous languages and cultures. Further, the media should not demonize indigenous cultures or in any other way promote discrimination against them. Museums and other places in which indigenous peoples’ cultural heritage is stored should inform the relevant indigenous peoples and develop mechanisms to facilitate the return of such cultural heritage where sought by the indigenous peoples concerned. 24
