Madam Chairperson, taking into account the Russian experience, based on centuries-old traditions of peaceful coexistence of different religions, we would refer to the following provisions as relevant for prevention of conflicts on religious grounds:  denunciation and eradication of discriminatory practices against religious minorities, and thorough investigation of acts of intolerance;  education and formation of tolerance starting from school. It is important to use both formal and informal methods of teaching the principles of respect for cultural, ethnic and religious diversity, and understanding cultural and religious identity of other people;  joining the efforts of the state and civil society, the creation of mechanisms allowing to use the peacemaking potential of religious organizations;  increasing the responsibility of the media and political leaders, whose assessments, speeches and interviews influence the formation of public opinion. The strengthening of nationalist oriented parties in national and supranational parliaments is a confirmation of radicalization of views of the population. Thank you for your attention.
