Global Diaspora Community Thank you, Madam Chair. On behalf of Global Diaspora Community Bangladesh, today I raise concern that continue to affect millions of minorities around the world. People whose only fault belongs to the vulnerable community. Around the world, minorities face discrimination, political exclusion, and targeted violence. These challenges are visible, painful, and well-documented. I want to draw your attention to the fact that Hindus persecution is increasing at an alarming rate in Bangladesh in recent times. Hindu people are killing, women are raped, and by the current regime, with the concern of the current regime, especially Hindu monk leader Chinmaki Sudarsh, recently arrested for a false sedition case under the unconstitutional Yunus regime. However, the community has made an invaluable contribution to Bangladesh's cultural heritage. Hindu cultural figures have been a cornerstone of Bangladesh's identity, preserving the spirit of Bengali culture for generations. Let me give an example. Ustad Raghunath was a key figure in preserving and innovating Bangladesh culture by classical music. Folk singer Bipol Bhattacharya used his music to support the liberation war of independence. Shiv Narayan Das designed Bangladesh's first national flag. Khatun Rishi Bhattacharya played an instrumental role in a new wave of art in Bangladesh. Additionally, Samudjit Roy Choudhury contributed to the first-ever handcrafted constitution of Bangladesh. Excellencies, the United Nations stand on a clear principle, minority rights are human rights. I urge the member states to ensure equal rights for all citizens, regardless of religion, ethnicity or identity. Let us work together so that no Hindu, no ethnic minority, and no vulnerable community anywhere has to live in fear. Thank you very much, Madam Chair and ladies and gentlemen.
