Based on the information gathered prior to and during this visit, he presents major trends in the migration phenomenon in the country and key challenges in the protection of the human rights of migrants. Where relevant he also highlights a number of practices of cooperation among stakeholders for the promotion and protection of human rights in the context of the migration phenomenon in the country. Finally, the Special Rapporteur offers a number of recommendations with a view to contributing to strengthening ongoing efforts to implement the human rights of migrants in Senegal and of Senegalese migrants abroad. * GE.11-11365 The summary of the present report is being circulated in all official languages.
