Speaker: Thank you. It is an honor to be here with you all. I want to highlight the importance
of ensuring the right to health for minorities. WHO has tools that member states can use
towards this end. We have the health equity toolkit. The innovative approach reviewing
national health programs to leave no one behind. Methods to assess barriers to services.
We also have support to ensure social participation of minorities and also knowledge dialogs
towards ensuring intercultural care approaches. WHO is part of the UN network for tackling
racial discrimination and protection of minorities. And we would encourage all UN partners
here to work to ensure that there is a strong focus on the rights of minorities in cooperation
frameworks. Thank you.
