The constitution of Somaliland states that all citizens are equal in article 8, in the following articles 24,25,26,27 and 32 they clearly state the rights of minorities and people who are deprived their freedom. The authorities in Somaliland need considerable support from all states and UN agencies in moving towards realization of these legal principles. This will also make the Gabooye feel they are full citizens of Somaliland with all the rights accorded to all.
