racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance*
Summary
In the present report, the Special Rapporteur on contemporary forms of racism,
racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance, E. Tendayi Achiume, analyses
different forms of racial discrimination in the design and use of emerging digital
technologies, including the structural and institutional dimensions of this discrimination.
She also outlines the human rights obligations of States and the responsibility of
corporations to combat this discrimination.
