The Government of Canada would also like to point out that, as outlined
in Canada's Second and Third Reports on the International Covenant on Civil
and Political Rights, there is a Multiculturalism Policy in place which has as
one of its main aims the achievement of harmonious relations between the many
cultural and racial groups that comprise Canada."
