Speaker: The regional calculations now are targeting the interests of minorities and going even beyond that to target entire people and this is what we’re witnessing right now on the borders of Iraq. Through the air raids and security intervention in our areas we are facing a new kind of warfare, a new persecution of minorities. Through a water war because now the share of water in Iraq is being targeted which undermines the livelihood in certain areas and redistributes the geography of the area. And although the federal government works towards allowing each governorate to choose its language based on a demographic calculation, we’re seeing that some areas are trying to undermine the identities of certain minorities, preventing them from using their language, and from declaring their own identities. There is also a targeting of youth leaders and rights defenders in the 2019 protests. But there are some good efforts that keep us going. When we see that the Iraqi government is trying to work with the local populations, bringing efforts together to defend the minorities as we counter the efforts of evil as represented by ISIS. And so we have to celebrate our marchers who had died for the cohesion of the Iraqi people and we wish a speedy recovery for the injured. Thank you very much for allowing us to take the floor.
