At the 18th and 19th meetings, on 23 May, the Rapporteur introduced the draft report of the Forum on its second session (E/C.19/2003/L.19 and Add.1). 2. At the same meeting, the Director of the Division for Social Policy and Development, Department of Economic and Social Affairs, made a statement on the programme budget implications of the draft recommendations submitted by the Forum. 3. Also at the same meeting, the Forum took note of the Chairperson’s summary of the discussions of the Forum at its second session (E/C.19/2003/L.2/Add.1 to 7). 4. At the same meeting, the Forum adopted its report on its second session. 5. At the same meeting, statements were made by the President of the Economic and Social Council, a Maasai Elder and the Chairperson of the Forum. The second session was then declared closed. 35
