IV. Promotion and protection of the identity of religious minorities

Thank you, Madame Chair
First of all, I would like to (…) panellist special rapporteur Mr (…) for his presentation concerning the
promotion and protection of (…) religious minorities. In a similar way, I would like to inform the
distinguished participants about the national practices in Azerbaijan (…) team. Being a country of
long-standing tradition of tolerance, non-discrimination and peace, Azerbaijan attaches great importance
to inter-cultural and inter-religious dialogue, and contributes to discussion deliver. Azerbaijan’s
predominant Muslim population has always been committed to principles of (…) among all its citizens
following principles of unity and diversity. For (…) centre, as Muslims and Christians and Jews have
(…) to live side by side in Azerbaijan in conditions of peace, tolerance and mutual respect. They all take
part of the political, social-economic, and cultural levels, (…) make contributions to Azerbaijan’s
development. (…) characterise Azerbaijan as a controversial high level of dispute tolerance (…) feature
of Azerbaijan’s population. (…) as the most tracking feature of Azerbaijan, regarding issues of relevant
(…) date is a balance attitude shown by Azerbaijanis towards religion. As a main consequence of this
attitude, is a undisputable degree of tolerance of its population general (…) in its constitution and an
essential ingredient of the freedom of religion and faith in the society. Established in 2001, the state
county for religious organisations of Azerbaijan is the main governmental agency in Azerbaijan in charge
of the regulation of activities of religious organisations. Our country is (…) special attention to the
historical religious monuments in (…) reconstruction church (…) as a country. (…) contributes to the
foundation of this cause (…) address of tolerance, Azerbaijan project of this foundation is the Orthodox

of religious tolerance is fine in the country. Today more than 1,800 mosques, five Orthodox, one
Catholic, one Lutheran, two Alban-Udi, four churches Orthodox, six synagogues and (…) priest (…)
function as a country freely in result in discrimination, (…) inputs and remarks of (…) seeking for
awareness in regards for realisation of effective measures for the protection and promotion of identity of
religious minorities.
