At the same meeting, a statement in exercise of the right of reply was made by Chile. 75. Also at the same meeting, a statement summarizing the discussion on the theme of human rights was made by Ayitegan Kouevi, member of the Forum. Action taken by the Forum 76. At its 18th meeting, on 24 May, the Forum, in adopting its draft report (E/CN.19/2002/CRP.1-8), identified a number of proposals, objectives, recommendations and areas of possible future action, and through the Economic and Social Council, requested States, United Nations system and intergovernmental organizations, indigenous peoples, the private sector and NGOs to assist in their implementation (see chap. I, sect. B). 16
