(b) Reject the idea of participation in sport as a privilege rather than as a
human right;

Ensure that effective remedy mechanisms are in place;
(d) Implement and enforce policies that promote diversity and inclusion
within sports organizations and at all levels of participation;
(e) Apply the International Olympic Committee framework on fairness
and inclusion when developing any eligibility rules, refrain from blanket bans
and rescind all discriminatory regulations that force women to undergo invasive
and unnecessary medical interventions as a condition of participation in
women’s sports;

Declare professional athletes to be workers and treat them as such.
States and international sports governing bodies should:
(a) Ensure compliance with human rights standards in all sporting events,
rules and procedures;
(b)
Apply a trauma-informed approach to sports;
(c) Develop accessible sports facilities and programmes that cater to
diverse populations;
(d) Conduct awareness campaigns to challenge stereotypes and educate
stakeholders about the benefits of inclusive sports practices.
