A/70/310 • Further encourage Governments to ratify the International Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Their Families, ILO Convention no. 181 and other relevant standards • The United Nations Working Group on Business and Human Rights should pay attention to the issue of recruitment practices and consider developing guidelines • Support Member States in sensitizing the private sector on human rights abuses and implementing the Guiding Principles and other international standards • Provide any requested technical cooperation to support Member States in transitioning towards an ethical system of international labour recruitment • Improve coordination on the issue of recruitment fees among migrant workers across different United Nations agencies • Support Governments in developing joined up data collection systems at the national, regional and international levels, which allows for a full understanding of trends and root causes • Integrate concerns about the specific vulnerability of migrant workers subject to abuse and exploitation by unethical recruiters into the further development and implementation of the post-2015 sustainable development goals agenda and migration management • Consider how development programming in countries of origin can address the push factors that lead migrants to seek precarious opportunities abroad.
