Morgiane Noel
Morgiane is currently a researcher and lecturer at Trinity College Dublin. Aside from her PhD,
Morgiane has led academic and research initiatives, including symposium series and research
weeks, fostering collaboration between researchers, civil society organisations, and European and
international institutions. In 2025, she founded the Women in Research Network at Trinity College
Dublin to strengthen research collaboration, advance gender equality, and promote women’s
representation in academia, including women academics at COP31 Antalya in the Blue Zone at the
heart of negotiations. Her advocacy bridges academic research, civil society, and international
human rights mechanisms. She works closely with human rights organisations and UN Special
Rapporteurs to facilitate dialogue between research communities and international bodies. She
has also represented the Indigenous Amazigh people at official events, highlighting women’s roles
in self-determination and resistance to colonialism, including the 2024 Women in Resistance:
Algeria–Ireland initiative, organised in partnership with the Algerian Embassy in Dublin.
