A. Introduction
2.
The Committee welcomes the submission of the combined initial to third periodic report
of Angola and the opportunity thus offered to engage in a constructive dialogue with the State

as the answers provided by experts from the delegation of the State party to the Committee’s oral
questions. It regrets however that several of its questions have remained unanswered.
B. Positive aspects
3.
The Committee notes with appreciation the ratification by the State party of the United
Nations Convention against Corruption and the African Union Convention on Preventing and
Combating Corruption, in 2006.
