Topic 3. Legal and institutional framework: human rights of minorities and conflict prevention
The Maylê Sara Kalí - AMSK/Brazil International Association, the Roma, we thank Belén
Rodríguez Alba and the Special Rapporteur, Dr. Fernand Varennes, for their stimulating work,

need to act in the construction of Culture of Peace and Justice mechanisms to combat
prejudice, discrimination, racism and Romaphobia, which are secular factors that generate the

continuity of technical, operational and financial support for the permanent realisation of the
Regional Forums, in online format, for the effective monitoring of the implementation of the
recommendations; and (2) compliance with the provisions of the international treaties in force
that guarantee the human rights of the Roma people, in particular, the safeguarding of our
intangible and tangible cultural heritage, recognition, appreciation and cultural respect. Thank
you very much
