Today, we are witnessing the biggest reoccurrence of violence by religious extremist groups such as ISIS, which has been attacking different religious and ethnic groups. This is while nations and governments around the world believe no religion supports war and violence. Minorities are subjected to genocide and atrocity crimes because the criminal groups have extremist beliefs or are being influenced by political objectives of some countries. It is clear that extremist religious groups are committing crimes that are threatening the peace and security of Mankind. It is the responsibility of all States to help find a way out of this problem. It would be highly regrettable if the world gets used to these violent crimes. Peace seeking beliefs must be powerful enough to eliminate violence and killings in the world.Therefore, it is necessary for us to put aside religious, racial, and ethnic prejudices to maintain peace and ----in the world. The thing that is taking place by religious extremist groups has nothing to do with any religious. beliefs. It is necessary for religious leaders particularly in Arabic and Islamic countries to take positions against the violence and brutalities that are taking place including tortures, beheadings, the kidnapping of women and girls as booties of war, destruction of religious and holy shrine Recognizing the identities of religious minorities does not have any negative consequences, it is a way of respecting human beings, it can facilitate inter-religious dialogue, and it can eliminate religious extremism and sectarian violence. Our organization calls on all religious and ethnic minority leaders in Iraq and Syria to put aside their differences and unite against the big ISIS threat. Most certainly with the expansion of the, totalitarian ideology of ISIS in the Middle East region, none of the minorities will be given a chance to live in peace. This organization also calls on religious leaders around the world to make an attempt to promote peace among all human beings. The religious leaders are called upon, as stated in Paragraph 30 of the "Draft Recommendations", to detect early signs of potential violence and communicate them with relevant authorities so that they will be able to respond rapidly to emerging tensions.
