The National Institute for Women (INMUJERES) puts forward the program “Steps towards work equality,” to propel the elimination of work related violence and the discriminatory practices of work centers, through the linking of public entities, chambers of commerce, and syndicates. It also executes projects to favor the economic autonomy of women. These are only some of the examples of practices and experiences that have contributed to advancing the full enjoyment of the rights of women belonging to minorities in Mexico.
