Padmaz Madame Chair, My name is Abdulrahman Heidari. I am representing the Patriotic Arabic Democratic Movement of Al-Ahwaz in Padmaz. Although taking part in this Forum, which is a great opportunity for minorities to share their concern with others, it has its own risk as well. For example, last year, my family back in my occupied country Al-Ahwaz, were threatened and humiliated by the Iranian authorities because of my participation in this Forum. Also a warning message was sent to me, it threatened me that if I don’t stop my activities they will reach me, meaning they will assassinate me or kidnap me, similar to what happened to [?] Ahwazi citizen. Madame Chair, Thousand of Ahwazi activists have scarified their lives for the sake of their oppressed nation. The Iranian regime has implemented a wide range of racist policies in order to erase our identity, including anti Arab policy. Basically, the Arab hatred is one of the main cause of Iranian nationalism. I refer you to many books written in this regard, latest of which are murdered by Iranian nationalism [?]. The Arab hatred has been emphasized not only by the Iranian media, filmmakers, artists, football players, computer game programmer, but also unfortunately by the politicians and decision makers from the heads to the toes.
