4th Session of the Forum on Minority Issues Permanent Mission of Saudi Arabia In Arabic/female Thank Madam Chair. Thank you for giving us this possibility. I am Haya Bohari from Saudi Arabic. The minority education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a priority for the government. We raise awareness of women in knowing their rights, especially the right to education, so they may seize all economic opportunities and participate in cultural and political life taking high level posts like men without any form of discrimination. The state provides equal opportunity and education for all citizens and residents. Universities were opened in all parts of the kingdom to provide education to all including women. Recently, we have opened the largest female university for 30 thousand students. Also boarding capacities were available for women coming from rural or far areas. These universities open their doors regardless of any discrimination on the basis of sex, gender or other. Thank you.
