Permanent mission of Switzerland Concrete measures: - extend womens' minority rights (as proposed) to girls minority rights as well, in conformity with article 30 CRC (girls should already know what their minority rights are and not wait till they are 18 years old !) - Call upon States to collect disaggregated data not only based on ethnicity and sex (as proposed) but on nationality, ethnicity, religion, language and sex, in line with the 1992 UN Declaration on the rights of persons belonging to national or ethnic, religious and linguistic minorities - I also made some avertising for the 3.COM resolution on the 20.anniversary of the 1992 Declaration on minorities and - leaning on its PP 10 bis (successfully proposed by Switzerland in NY), OP 4 + OP 14, I requested that the I.E on minority issues be invited to the panel to take place in the HRCouncil next March on the Declaration in order for her to contribute as a panelist to the discussion since the implementation of the Declaration is integral part of her mandate.
